With you the trail becomes more than a run
The Sonnenterrassen Trail is going ahead — on 21 and 22 May 2027 in St. Veit im Pongau. What it becomes is decided together with you: a running event turns into a celebration for the whole village when enough people and businesses pull together. The trail is built on voluntary work; every contribution goes straight into what makes the day special — from the children’s trail to the food and drink along the course and the party in the evening.
Fifty per cent of every donation and every supporting membership goes into the donation fund. It benefits a good cause in the region, primarily in the Pongau. As in 2026, the handover takes place during the prize giving — back then we were able to present 4,000 euros together to the deaf association in St. Johann im Pongau.
What your support achieves
A trail does not live on the starting gun alone. It lives on people who put out the course markings at five in the morning, on food and drink in the right place, on timing that works — and on someone standing at the finish and applauding.
That is exactly where your support ends up: in the things you only notice when they are missing.
Become a sponsor or partner
As a sponsor you are visible where the region is looking: out on the course, in the event centre at the market square, on race numbers, in the sponsor bar on this website and in our channels — from the opening of registration to the aftermovie. We put packages together individually, from local businesses to main sponsors.
The children's trail: where it all starts
For many children the children’s trail is the first race of their life. A race number, a finish arch, applause — and at the end a trophy that goes on the shelf at home. It costs the families nothing; it is carried by supporters.
At the Schwarzach-Trail 2026 more than 200 children ran. In 2027 we want to make more room, not less.
Time instead of money: lend a hand or join the club
